原指人呼吸时，吐出浊气，吸进新鲜空气。现多用来比喻扬弃旧的、不好的，吸收新的，好的。

弃旧：

1.丢弃旧状。

2.遗弃旧好。

吸进：

用呼吸的方法吸入。如：以在吸进的空气中增加氧的百分比为目的。

浊气：

1.谷食之气。

2.人体呼吸时呼出之气和从肛门排出的矢气。

3.指不良风气。

4.俗气。
